The Jalay Bee is a project by Nizam Alavi.

The experiment: a one-man newsroom run by Nizam and a team of AI agents.

The agents do most of the legwork — monitoring, drafting, fact-checking, surfacing what’s worth covering. Nizam does the calls about what runs, what gets killed, and what the piece actually says. The hope is that this shape — one editor, many agents — is the right scale for the AI moment, and that it produces sharper coverage than a traditional newsroom could afford.
